Veiga is the developer of the biomechanical processing technology for MSW (municipal solid waste): a process that separates organic from synthetic waste and turns each part into an asset, with sustainable projects designed to deliver a return. Brazil's first biomechanical plant opened in 2021 in São Bento do Sul (SC), sized for 40 tons per day. In Timbó (SC), the plant is sized for 160 tons per day.

Partnership
As the exclusive manufacturer of the equipment for the biomechanical waste recovery plant, Veiga Sul works in partnership with 100 Lixo to develop custom municipal waste management projects, focused on sustainability, positive social impact and economic viability.
100 Lixo is responsible for the plant's project and sales. Veiga manufactures the equipment in Novo Hamburgo (RS), Brazil.
The complete partnership to turn waste into resources, with technology, commitment and sustainability.
Biomechanical plant technology is the state of the art in municipal solid waste treatment: it combines biological and mechanical processes to recover as much material as possible and generate clean energy.
The result: less waste in landfills and more value for the production chain and for society.
